The Marist Jimmy Griffin Locker Room

The Marist Jimmy Griffin Locker Room was only a dream of Boys’ Basketball Coach Gene Nolan until 2016 when Jimmy’s Foundation donated funds to completely renovate this locker room and provide quality lockers and folding chairs for Marist’s student athletes. Plans are to also provide technological updates to the locker room to further benefit Marist athletes and coaches.

There is one locker dedicated to Jimmy Griffin, Marist’s #11, where his jersey hangs during basketball season. Meg is pictured with her two Jimmys.

Jimmy’s Foundation is proud to have donated over a two-year period the Sts. John Paul II and Teresa of Calcutta glass mosaic and shrine to St. Bede Church. The mosaic was crafted by Mr. Joe Folise, a renowned liturgical artist. The glass mosaic pieces were obtained from Venice, Italy, and were placed individually by hand by Mr. Folise. It truly is a treasure! We hope many special intentions are answered at the Shrine.
